Returns & Exchanges

We hope you love our sleepwear as much as we do, but if not, here's what to do.

We will happily exchange or refund providing the following conditions have been met:

  1. The item with the original receipt is returned within 30 days of purchase.
  2. Items must be in original condition as purchased, with all labels/tickets/packaging attached. If your purchase includes garments, they must not have been washed or worn.
  3. The item must not have been personalised.

Please note that the change of mind refund & exchange policy set out above does not affect or limit your consumer law rights and the consumer guarantees under those laws in any way (eg. for items that are faulty or don’t match the description).

Variation To Refund & Exchange Policy For Items Purchased With Afterpay and Zip.

An item purchased online using Afterpay or Zip as tender can be:

  1. Refunded by posting it to the Online Store Returns/Exchange address: Online Returns & Exchanges

  2. Exchanged in store for product or a gift card by visiting the relevant brand's retail store in Australia (ie. items bought at Peter Alexander can only be returned to a Peter Alexander retail store). Gift cards will also be issued for any difference between the item exchanged and the amount originally paid.

We are unable to issue refunds in store where Afterpay or Zip was used as tender. All refunds and exchanges are subject to our refund and exchange policy having been met.

How To Return An Item

Returns & refunds will be accepted provided the conditions in the Refund & Exchange Policy have been met. Refunds will be processed using the original form of payment.

Purchases made in Peter Alexander stores

Purchases made in a Peter Alexander Australian retail store can be returned in a Peter Alexander Australian retail store. You must present the receipt you received in the store at the time you purchased your items.

Purchases Made Online in Australian Dollars

You can return an item purchased online:

  1. By visiting the relevant brand's retail store in Australia (ie. items bought at Peter Alexander can only be returned to a Peter Alexander retail store); or
  2. By posting it to the Online Store Returns/Exchange address:

  • Make sure you include your order number, name, address, email, phone number, instructions and any comments concerning the return.

All returns & exchanges remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by the Returns & Exchanges Group. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. Refunds will be processed at the original purchase price using the original form of payment. Delivery charges will not be refunded and standard delivery charges apply on re-delivery for exchanges, unless goods are returned in accordance with your consumer law rights.

International Purchases Made Online via ESW

You can return an item purchased online by submitting your request through the international returns portal. Please allow 48 hours after your order has been delivered before initiating a return.

All returns remain the responsibility of the purchaser until received by the Returns & Exchanges Group. Please note that an international return delivery charge of AUD $30 applies, and will be deducted from the refund amount.

You will need your order number and the email address used to place the order.

A confirmation email will be sent once we receive your return. Please note that all refunds are subject to inspection by the Returns & Exchanges Group. You can track the progress of your return by logging into the international returns portal.

ESW, esponsible for managing international sales, will provide the refund to the original form of payment and at the original purchase price, including any duties and taxes originally paid on the item in the same currency. The original delivery charge will not be refunded, unless goods are returned in accordance with your consumer law rights.

How To Exchange An Item
